Film review: Moon (2009).
Sam (Rockwell) works for an energy company and has been working alone on the moon for 3 years with only a robot named GERTY (excellently voiced by Kevin Spacey) for company. With just days before he is set to return to Earth, he has an accident and realises he is not alone and that nothing is what it seems.
Shot in just 33 days in the UK, British director Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie, makes his feature length directorial debut with this sci-fi drama which only cost $5m to produce what looks like a big budget Hollywood movie.
Moon is out now on DVD.
